Kevin Reeder

Kevin Reeder has been involved in helping professions for the last forty years through paid and volunteer positions. He is currently a partner with Planning Specialists, LLC. Formerly he was Divisional Social Service Director for The Salvation Army Wisconsin and Upper Michigan Division, a position he held from 2003 to 2020. Prior to that he was the Divisional Social Services Consultant for the Salvation Army’s Western Division subsequent to his retirement from the United States Air Force.

Kevin received a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Black Hills State University, a Masters of Education in Counseling and Guidance from South Dakota State University, and a Masters of Social Work from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. He has completed additional advanced course work in Public Administration specializing in Organizational Behavior and Nonprofit Management.

With over 40 years experience in management functions including scheduling, budget, program development, and supervision, Kevin has held numerous positions as an employee and volunteer in service providing programs, directing customer service, volunteers and professional social services staff. Some positions he has held include training manager, budget analyst, career counselor, personal financial management counselor, bereavement coordinator and counselor, pastoral minister, and group facilitator. 

Stan Kelley

Stan Kelley is a partner with Kevin Reeder in Planning Specialists, LLC. He brings to the table nearly 40 years of successful planning and development work.

Stan earned a Masters degree in Public Administration/Service with a specialty in nonprofit management from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This is in addition to practical hands-on experience in a variety of fundraising and fundraising management disciplines including planned giving where he supervised a team of 13. He served as Vice President and General Manager for the Chicago office of Hemmings, Birkholm& Grizzard,a major marketing firm headquartered in Pasadena, California for nine years. He was the Executive Director of Development for The Salvation Army in the Wisconsin and Upper Michigan Division headquartered in Milwaukee for the last 14 years.

His clients have included the National Office of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and its Indiana Chapter Office, Catholic Charities of Chicago, TrueSense Marketing the Boy Scouts of America and numerous Salvation Army commands.

Professional memberships include the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) where he holds the Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) certification. He sits on the Advisory Council of The Salvation Army's Cold Spring Corps in Milwaukee County.
